welcom to pontiacv8.com!
I have been asked, “Why did you decide to start PontiacV8.com?”
Well, the simple answer is, I love the Pontiac hobby and enjoy promoting the history of our beloved (and defunct!) brand.
In my personal collection of Pontiac literature are interesting documents, bulletins and memos, and vintage photos. I have been able to share much of it in the articles I penned for magazines such as High Performance Pontiac, Hemmings Muscle Machines, Smoke Signals, and now, Car Craft. It has also allowed me to have authored (4) separate books that are published by CarTech. I happen to offer autographed copies for sale in the shop.
In my literature collection remains countless pieces that are just as interesting to some but individually, may not be enough for a standalone print article.
By working them into regular blog entries, I am able to share them with fellow Pontiac hobbyists like you! My goal is to add a new post a new blog weekly. Some will be short, and others will be long. And they will encompass Pontiacs ranging from 1926 to those produced well into the 2000s.
I encourage you to share your comments on each. And if you have something you’d like to contribute, by all means, send me an email via the contact form. I would love to hear from you!
Remember, if we don’t continue promoting the Pontiac brand, the excitement will never carry on for the next generations of automotive enthusiasts.
